Dr. Emma Dishner, MD, MPH is an infectious disease physician in Dallas, TX.
Bio
Dr. Dishner is a Dallas native who attended University of Texas at Austin for undergraduate education graduating with a B.S. in Biology. She then went to graduate school at Texas A&M University graduating with honors with an M.P.H. in Epidemiology. She attended medical school at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (McGovern Medical School) and currently serves on the alumni board of trustees.
She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Baylor University Medical Center and her Infectious Diseases Fellowship Immunocompromised Track at Baylor College of Medicine/MD Anderson Cancer Center.
She is active in the Dallas County Medical Society (DCMS) and Texas Medical Association (TMA). She has served as a TMA delegate for Dallas county and has served on the Board of Trustees for DCMS. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the TMA Insurance Trust. She has been featured in D Magazine Best Doctors for many years.
She is well trained in all infectious diseases but her passion is treating infections in those undergoing cancer treatments and in public health and hospital epidemiology.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two daughters and her husband.
