Denise Adams, NP

Bio

Denise initially obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). After doing financial analysis for several years, she went back to school to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from UTA. Upon graduation she started work at Baylor University Medical Center in the transplant/surgical intensive care unit (ICU) for almost ten years. While working in the ICU, she obtained a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with a concentration in Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining Texas Centers for Infectious Disease Associates, she continued working with transplant patients in various clinical settings.

Denise loves to spend time with her family and friends. Hobbies including traveling, attending sporting events and volunteering at her children’s school.
